Obituary: Thelma Hardin

Thelma Hardin, 84, died on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at her daughter's Prescott home. She was born on May 20, 1926, in Greenup County, Ky., to William Dillow and Rebecca (Wroten) Dillow. She has lived in Prescott Valley, Ariz., for the past 24 years.

Thelma was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She and Harry joined the church after relocating from Dayton, Ohio, after raising their three children.

Thelma is survived by her daughters, Sharon Hardin of Las Vegas and Harriet (Dan) Gronek of Prescott; son Steven (Penni) of Phoenix; brother Ralph of Ohio; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harry, and a grandchild.

A private family interment will be Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 6901 E. Horizon Lane, Prescott Valley, Ariz.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Good Samaritan Society Prescott Home Health and Hospice, 1065 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301.
