Obituary: Tonia "Toni" Ann Sadova
After a courageous battle with cancer, Mom passed peacefully in her Prescott, Ariz., home July 31, 2010. She was born in Evansville, Ind., on Sept. 4, 1944. Toni moved to Tucson, Ariz., where she graduated from Rincon High School, class of 1962. She attended the University of Texas at El Paso, where she met Bob Sadova, her husband of 43 years. She was a schoolteacher in both Texas and New Mexico. Toni then moved to Scottsdale, Ariz., where she raised her children and opened Chaparral Insurance Agency, with offices in Phoenix and Prescott. Toni was an avid tennis player and longtime member of P.E.O.
In addition to her beloved husband, Bob, she is survived by her mother, Betty Brown-Fleitz; son Robert Sadova Jr.; daughter Suzanne Carlson; four grandchildren, Christopher, Alexandria, Shelby and Sydney; and her great-grandchild, Riley.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to organizations fighting cancer.
We love you, Mom.
