Update: Driver died from heart attack before crash

PRESCOTT VALLEY - A 73-year-old Dewey-Humboldt man died from a heart attack Tuesday morning before losing control of his vehicle, which overturned, a Prescott Valley police spokesman reported.

Police Sgt. Brandon Bonney cited results from an autopsy of Edwin Bush, whose 1994 Jeep Wrangler overturned at Highway 69 at the intersection with the Villages of Lynx Creek. Police responded to the single-vehicle crash at 9:12 a.m.

After arriving at the scene, police found the Wrangler overturned in a field near the Villages, Bonney reported.

Bush was driving north on Highway 69 when the accident occurred. Witnesses reported his vehicle veered toward the shoulder as if to pull off the road.

The vehicle overturned several times.
