Cowboy Costume Ball highlight of Windmill Farms Pumpkin Festival

Windmill Farms at JC Ranch, 1460 W. Road 4 North in Chino Valley, invites everyone to their 3rd Annual Pumpkin Festival every Saturday and Sunday in October from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Activities at the festival will include; tractor hay rides, petting zoo, barrel train rides, jumpers, pumpkin patch, hog call contest, big wheel race, pie eating contest, pumpkin painting contest, horseshoes, volleyball, fishing contest, arts & crafts, food an beverages, live music, dancing, dog agility course, and farmer's market.

Cost is $2 for general admission, and $5 for an all-day events pass (includes admission, petting zoo, train rides, jumpers and all other attractions).

Fee fishing will be offered at the farm's lakes.

To add to the festivities there will be a "Cowboy Costume Ball" on Oct. 31 from 6 p.m.-midnight with a live band, free hors d'oeuvres, and drink specials. The cost for the Cowboy Ball is $10 per person if purchased in advance at the festival, or $15 at the door. Door prizes will go to those with the best costumes.
