I was sad to hear the Frontier Village Cinema 10 Theater had closed its doors. I would like to thank Scott Cassell and Max Anhoury for making every effort they could to keep the Frontier Village Cinema open. It is a shame that a town as large as Prescott will no longer have a movie theater within its city limits.
Frontier Village Cinema might not have been as big or as modern as other theaters, but at least movie viewers had additional film choices to choose from. Frontier ran small films and art house films, as well as blockbusters. Despite the smaller and older venue, it was nice to have the small-town feeling that the theater provided.
Here's hoping Prescott will get a new movie theater soon.
