Robert E. Fowler

Robert E. Fowler, age 81, passed away on Oct. 26, 2009, in Chino Valley, Ariz. He was born on March 24, 1928, in Boise, Idaho, to Edison Fowler and Eunice (Trotter) Fowler.

Robert attended Burrough High School and later graduated from the University of California at Berkley. He made a career as a physicist at China Lake Naval Weapons Center and retired from the Department of the Defense. He was a Mensa honoree and was awarded the Replica of "Sidewinder" Missile. His hobbies included real estate and solar home construction, and he was president of the Toastmasters.

Robert is survived by his wife, Madeline; sons Floyd and Michael; daughters Laura and Leigh; grandchildren Jesse, Ashleigh and Amanda; and sister Bethany Jones.

A service for Robert will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at the Grace Baptist Church, 2010 S. Highway 89, Chino Valley, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Granite Mountain Hospice.
