Driver suffers minor injuries after crash

PRESCOTT VALLEY - The driver of a small pickup suffered minor injuries after colliding with a sedan while apparently turning on a yellow light at the intersection of Glassford Hill Road and Long Look Drive late Friday morning.

Prescott Valley Police Sgt. Brandon Bonney said Robert Middlemore, 43, was traveling alone southbound on Glassford Hill at 11:23 a.m. when he turned his Ford Ranger left onto Long Look, directly in front of a Toyota Camry near Bradshaw Mountain High School.

The driver of the Camry, Jenny Folmer, 33, broadsided the Ranger and knocked it onto its side. Both of Fol-

mer's passengers, including a 4-year-old boy and a 42-year-old man, were wearing seatbelts and were uninjured.

Bonney said Folmer was going through the yellow light as Middlemore turned.

The accident backed up traffic on northbound Glassford Hill Road for about 45 minutes, Bonney added.

PVPD officers are still investigating the wreck.
