Obituary: Virginia J. Cole
Virginia J. Cole, 87, passed away Oct. 3, 2009, at her home in Prescott, Ariz. She was born April 16, 1922, in Magnolia, Ark., to Ollie and Jennie (Keith) Wright.
Virginia attended Taylor High School in Taylor, Ark., and then went on to A&M College in Magnolia, Ark. She was always a homemaker but worked at the VA Hospital as a food service handler. She retired after 18 years of service at the VA.
Virginia enjoyed playing piano and organ and being involved with her church. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Millard S. Cole; son Richard D. Meyers; and brother Thomas S. Wright.
A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at the Cole residence, 1333 Linden Road, Prescott, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity in Virginia's name.
