Police need help smoking out cigarette thief
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly broke a window and stole $1,000 worth of cigarettes at a gas station in Dewey-Humboldt on July 30.
The suspect is a white man with a bald or shaved head who was wearing a black t-shirt with a white graphic on the front. Video surveillance captured a photo of the suspect at the Chevron Station in the 2700 block of Highway 69.
Deputies reviewed the video and said the suspect broke out a window with his right arm, climbed through the window frame, put several cartons of cigarettes in a green crate and left through the window frame.
Anyone with information on this person is urged to call YCSO at 771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232. Silent Witness callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward if an arrest is made in this case.
