Letter: Displays of gratitude to soldiers mean a lot
I want to say a huge thank you to the community in general and to the following unknown individuals.
My brother was here this past month. He's active duty in the Army. He was in town for our other brother's wedding and so was wearing his uniform. That evening he took his wife out to La Bruzza's and when he went to pay his bill the cashier told him that others had paid his bill about five times over! Mr. LaBruzza pointed out four or five different tables whose occupants had offered to pay for their meal! Needless to say, my brother and his wife spent a while going around thanking everyone!
I have seen Mr. LaBruzza himself put a meal "on the house" as a thank you to someone in the service. These are not isolated events. I have seen many times people in our community doing kind things, and saying thank you to those in the military and I just wanted to say a huge thank you in return to all of the people who have been so kind in showing their support for military members and their families. It means a lot.
