Alice Ledyard, born Nov. 18, 1920, in Lansing, Mich., passed away at home March 17, 2009. She and her husband Bill, who preceded her in death, moved to Prescott Valley from California in 1980.
As a pioneer member of St. Germaine, she enjoyed being of service to both her church and the community. Her warm, friendly personality delighted friends and family alike. She will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Patricia Martin and Jeanne (Fred) Tretta; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mass will be Monday, March 23, 2009, at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, 7997 East Dana Drive in Prescott Valley. A rosary will be said at 9:45 a.m. and a mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Germaine's building fund or to YRMC Hospice, Restricted Fund, 3262 N. Windsong Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
