World Arts Fest seeks vendors

The Town of Prescott Valley and its Arts and Culture Commission encourages all food and arts and crafts vendors to sign up for booth space for the World Arts Festival as soon as possible.

"This year we've packed a whole lot of free family fun into one day," said Brian Witty, director of Parks and Recreation.

The World Arts Festival is a one-day event, held on Sept. 12 this year, that includes a mixture of music, visual and performing arts, crafts, youth activities, food and culture from Arizona and around the world.

The Festival includes kite-making contests, Las Vegas style headline acts and the chance to participate in art activities. Popular entertainer Persephone brings her special brand of music and dance for the younger ones.

"We anticipate with the new schedule and the exciting new events that we will have a sellout this year," Witty said about booth space.

Rentals cost $60 for a 10'x10' space, and $95 for 10'x20'. Application deadline is Aug. 31.

Visit pvaz.net for the vendor forms, which can be found under Community >Parks and Recreation >Arts and Culture Events.

In addition, the Town is seeking local businesses to help sponsor this annual fun, free family event. For more information on how to get involved with the World Arts Festival, please contact Patricia Chalcraft at 759-3027, or visit the pvaz.net website for more information.
