Letter: Boycott sword can cut in both directions

EDITOR:

A letter from Jeffrey Pribble expressed the typical liberal's attitude toward a political opinion that differs with his.

He complained about a letter concerning the Tea Party group and stated that he has never spent a dollar at Wal-Mart. He then went on to say that he listens to Fox news only so he can badmouth and not shop at what ever local businesses advertise on that network.

This is still a free country and he can shop or not shop wherever he chooses. However, I guess it's OK for the liberals to have a network that expounds on their ideas and reports the news in a very one-sided manner a la MSNBC via such newspersons as Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews. I also wonder if he has ever heard of another "unbiased" news source called The New York Times? In any case, I guess that he would support the idea of me not buying from any of the local businesses that advertise on MSNBC since I don't agree with the likes of Olbermann and Maddow and consider them to be blatant advertisements for the liberals of this country - or, to use his rhetoric, "liberal mouthpieces."
