Obituary: Robert Irving Kuebler

Robert Irving Kuebler, 73, passed away on June 25, 2009, at his residence in Prescott, Ariz. Bob was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Nov. 10, 1935.

Bob lived in the Bay are for 49 years, moved to San Diego for 13 years and retired to Prescott in 1997. In his career he was an operations manager for both electronic and computer manufacturing companies in California, working 28 of those years with Verizon, from where he retired.

Bob's life was filled with many happy memories and he created joyous memories for so many people throughout his life. He had a sense of humor that let everybody laughing and feeling good, yet he also had a very gentle and sensitive soul. His desire was to help people grow and learn to better their lives. He was a fun-loving spirit who loved life, people, animals and nature. He cherished all of his friends and family. He was the most loving and treasured husband and father in the world.

He is survived by his of 31 years wife, Karen Kuebler of Prescott; daughter Vicki Rasmussen from Bear River City, Utah; son Mark Kuebler from Santa Clara, Calif.; and son Jesse Cunningham from San Diego, Calif. He was predeceased by son Jason Cunningham from Modesto, Calif. He has 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. Bob's passing leaves a huge void as he has touched many lives and is loved by many, but he will bring much joy to the next world he enters.

Memorial services are 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Granite Peak Unitarian Church, corner of Whipple and Sunset.

The family suggests memorials in Bob's name to Heritage Park Zoo, 1403 Heritage Park Road, Prescott, AZ 86301, or to West Yavapai Guidance Clinic Foundation, 505 S. Cortez St., Prescott, AZ 86305.
