Police arrest 3 men on drug charges

During a traffic stop on Tuesday, Prescott Valley police arrested three men on various drug charges, police said in a Friday press release.

Around midnight, a police officer stopped a pickup at Fulton and Roundup streets for an unidentified traffic violation.

Because the driver, Brian Alan Warren, 27, of Prescott Valley showed signs of impairment, police brought the department's police dog "Ike" to search the vehicle.

Ike, a three-year-old Belgian Malinois, found almost 10 grams of methamphetamine along with some scales, police said.

Police arrested Warren on charges of possession and transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia and two counts of DUI.

In addition, police arrested Joseph Laurence Simpson, 26, of Prescott Valley on charges of use of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police also arrested Daniel Ray Dominguez, 23, but did not list his town of residence, on charges of use of dangerous drugs and marijuana.
