For those of you out there not yet familiar with the wonder that is Joss Whedon, most recently he is the guy behind the online phenomenon "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog," which is a must see for those with a certain sense of quirky humor. That could be a whole other blog entry. Perhaps it will be! Very soon!
Earlier in his career, Whedon wrote and produced "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Firefly." He even helped write the screenplay for "Toy Story." He's currently working on a television series called "Dollhouse."
Back to the present! So here is a combination of two completely awesome things that you never thought you'd see together: Joss Whedon and crafts. Crafter Kim Werker interviewed Whedon about crafts and craftiness. While it was hard to pin him down on anything specific, the interview is a very fun read. See transcript link and article link below. Read up on the debate regarding which craft Joss thinks is superior: knitting or crocheting! Take a side! Be controversial! I vote for crochet, but only because it doesn't make my hands cramp up. In reality, I think you can do more with knitting. Perhaps I'll give it another chance. I'd also like to learn embroidery!
What are your favorite crafts?
