Former Prescott High School football standout Nate Gahn was recently named head coach of the football program at Rincon High School in Tucson. The Rangers play in 5A-II's Southern II Region.
Gahn assisted on Rincon's staff the past two seasons. Before relocating to Tucson, Gahn coached with Prescott's varsity program for four years, including serving as offensive coordinator in 2005 and 2006.
Gahn is a 1996 graduate of PHS where he was a First Team All-Region running back, First Team All-Region defensive back, First Team All-Region punter and Second Team All-State punter. Gahn also played in the All-Arizona North-South All Star Game and represented the state in the Down Under Australian football cultural exchange.
After graduation, Gahn played football on a full scholarship at Western New Mexico University. In 2006, he was enshrined in the Prescott High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
