Chino council to look at commercial rezone Thursday
Peter and Stacy Gurko will ask the Chino Valley Town Council Thursday to approve their request to rezone about 15.8 acres on the east side of Highway 89, across from Rolling Hills Road, from single family residential two-acre minimum to commercial light.
The town council meets at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at 1020 Palomino Rd. in Chino Valley.
In other business, the council:
Will hear a presentation from Danna Doyle, Chino Valley High School drama teacher, about a student film project.
Will vote on a proclamation from the Chino Valley Friends of the Library declaring February 2009 as Library Lovers Month.
Hear a presentation on the proposed Southeast Santa Cruz Wash Neighborhood Improvement District by Traci McConnell and Bob Kerr, spokesmen for the leadership team.
Hear a presentation on Home Rule by Town Clerk Jami Lewis.
Approve the consent agenda.
