Danny Brady Shea passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 21, 2009. He was born May 24, 1987, in Flagstaff, Ariz., the son of Michael Shea and Cathy Shea. He was 22 years old.

Danny enjoyed connecting with people. Some of his hobbies included camping, hiking, snowboarding, fishing, team sports, photography, country western dancing, hunting and target shooting.

He worked as a carpenter for Prescott Builders and also for Yavapai College as an EMS instructor. At the time of his passing he was a dedicated worker at LifeLine Ambulance as an EMT.

His family will remember him and would share with all who knew and loved him this about him: "Danny packed a thousand years of integrity, compassion, friendship and love into a mere 22 years."

Danny is survived by his mother, Cathy Shea of Cornville, Ariz.; father Mike Shea of Prescott, Ariz.; sisters Amy Shea-Torrence of Phoenix, Ariz., Colleen Shea of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Rose Murphy of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Mrs. Tasia Brantley of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandmother Mrs. Veronica Shea of Bordentown, N.J., and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., Prescott. Celebration of Danny's life will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Prescott United Methodist Church with graveside services and a balloon release to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott. The family invites you to a potluck at Matt's Saloon in Prescott at 5 p.m. Please bring a dish to share.
