Fight leads to two broken teeth, one felony arrest
A Prescott man faces one felony count of aggravated assault after he allegedly broke two teeth in an older man's mouth during an argument.
Michael McCracken, 40, allegedly admitted he elbowed the 55-year-old victim in the face, according to a Yavapai County Sheriff's Office press release.
McCracken was detained Sunday in connection with the Aug. 11 assault when he reportedly became angry after the victim inferred he had stolen some personal property.
The assault went unreported until Sunday when YCSO deputies were called to the victim's home in the 3900 block of Highway 89 in Prescott, the location of the Aug. 11 fight.
According to the release, deputies where able to located McCracken after he called the cell phone of a witness. The suspect was arrested at his home in the 2800 block of Granite Gardens Drive in Prescott.
McCracken told deputies the other man struck him first and he reacted by punching the victim in the face at least twice, the press release said.
