What better way to support public transportation in the area than a cheap rock concert with some of Prescott's best original bands?
Indie faves Dutch Holly top the bill at this all-ages benefit organized by Prescott Alternative Transportation (PAT) that takes place at the Monday Club, 1306 E. Stetson, on Saturday.
The show begins at 5 p.m. with alt-rockers The Icarus Siren, Prescott punkers Hot Skin and garage rock gals B-Side Betties, as well as local poet/writer/performer/freak-against-the-machine Max Sympathy.
A suggested $5 donation for admission goes directly to PAT, a non-profit (501)(c)(3) organization.
The event is part of Bike Month 2009, an annual series of bike rides and events organized by PAT to promote and celebrate the use of bicycles.
