Beverly Jean King arrived in this world on Jan. 7, 1928, in Algona, Iowa, and departed April 25, 2009, in Prescott Valley, Ariz., at 81 years young. She married Kenneth D. King on May 2, 1946, in Jackson, Minn.
Beverly loved music, which included square dancing, singing and playing the piano. She was an accomplished painter and was always an integral part of social and family gatherings. Beverly was very religious her entire life and remained active in her church. The love that she showered upon her family was immense and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents, Rowe (Roy) D. Wiggins and Isabelle Elizabeth Shipley; siblings Vicky, Bob and Merton; and one son, Donald. She is survived by two sisters, Pauline and Margie; children Wayne and Alberta King from Gilbert, Ariz., Bob and Carrie King from Prescott Valley, Jennifer and John Bartos from Prescott, and Diana King from Prescott; grandchildren Dakota, Savannah, Jeff and Michael; and great-grandchildren Mason, Gavin and Isabella.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Calvary Chapel, 2313 East Highway 69.
