'Wings and Wheels' fly-in, car show is Saturday at Prescott airport
Prescott's Experimental Aircraft Association, or EAA, Chapter 658 will conduct its "Wings and Wheels" fly-in and car show Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ernest A. Love Field.
The event, which is free and open to the public, includes a charity pancake breakfast and bratwurst lunch, vendors, vintage airplanes, experimental and classic car displays, airplane and helicopter rides, and fly-bys throughout the day.
Aircraft in the static displays will include the P51D "Miss February," Wacos, CJ6s, Yak 52s, Nanchangs of Vector Warbirds, Cirrus SR22, Diamond, LSA's, jets and more.
Children ages 8 to 17 can sign up to become an EAA "Young Eagle."
Weather permitting, the association will offer flights on a first-come, first-served basis.
