Open Door needs help in building Mountain of Food
Residents of Prescott's Timber Ridge neighborhood will help Open Door create a Mountain of Food beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18. Sharon and Bill Arnold, Timber Ridge residents, will drive from driveway to driveway collecting non-perishable food items donated by their neighbors.
Open Door is collecting food and funds to restock the pantry and provide services for homeless or low income individuals and families. Community support for Open Door will be matched by a grant from the annual Feinstein Challenge. Timber Ridge donations will be added to the Mountain of Food being built at Open Door, 505 West Gurley St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
