Harvest Festival features local artisans: Yvette Daniel
Yvette Daniel is a native Arizonian and has lived Paulden since 1999. She will also be displaying her wares - beautiful beaded jewelry - at the Paulden Harvest Festival.
Yvette was taught to sew when just a child by her mother and grandmother. She enjoys crocheting, and quilting, but beading seems to be her fist love.
"I saw a kit in a catalog on how to make beaded jewelry, and once I started making my first necklace, I fell in love with beading," Yvette said.
Yvette makes all types of beaded jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and ankle bracelets which vary in price from $5 to $30.
"I love the creativity, and putting the various shapes and colors together is what really fascinates me."
