PRESCOTT - The fifth presentation in a series of speakers for the Prescott 2050 Visioning effort's "Looking Forward" program will take place this week.
Charles Grantham, a local author and principal of the Work Design Cooperative, will speak at 6 p.m., Monday, at Prescott City Hall, 201 S. Cortez St.
Grantham, an expert in corporate agility, will speak on the future of work in Prescott, focusing on "Why We Need a Strategy of Place."
Mayor Jack Wilson, who spearheaded the 2050 Visioning effort, is inviting the citizens of Prescott and the surrounding area to attend Grantham's talk.
"This is a rare opportunity to hear from a leading thinker and industry consultant on the future of work processes," states a news release about the event.
"More importantly, Dr. Grantham will relate how Prescott can take advantage of the change in work processes to become an attractive destination to higher-paying sustainable jobs."
