Our Lord called Carol home to rest in peace in his eternal home Sept. 16, 2008.

A soldier of God's teaching, she brought love, peace and laughter to all who crossed her path. A caregiver, wife, daughter, sister and mother, grand- and great-grandmother and friend, all benefited from her kindness and great love.

She was preceded by her parents Art and Hazel Auth, and husband Ollie Cole. She gave life and love to daughter Deborah and Henry Johnson; son Craig and Helen Cole; grandchildren Rebekah Patel, Rose Benson and Cameron Cole; and great-grandchildren Jessica, Stephanie and Ela. She leaves this song for us: "Today is my gift from God. Love. Joy. Laughter. Hope. Peace. Kindness.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lutheran Church's Prescott, Ariz., Youth Center.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at the American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott.
