The Bradshaw Mountain Bears ran the Coconino Panthers' losing streak to an even 20 with a career game from Mychael Eikenberry Friday night at Bob Pavlich Field.
The Bradshaw fullback rushed for 124 yards and four touchdowns - and all before halftime - as the Bears ran their winning streak to two straight after starting the season 0-5.
Eikenberry finished the night with 170 rushing yards, and even picked off a pass on defense against out-matched Coco, which lost to the Bears 63-0 a year ago.
Eikenberry opened the night's scoring with a 12-yard touchdown run in the first period. He added a second on a 4th and 1 call to widen the lead to 14-0 after one quarter.
The Panthers kept close, finding the end zone on the first play of the second period, but Eikenberry's night was just beginning. He added two more rushing scores in the quarter to boost the Bears' lead to a comfortable 28-6 by halftime.
The offense kept it rolling in the second half. Shon Do scored a 1-yard TD in the third with 8:27 left in the period.
Fullback Chris Cordero got into the mix, scoring two touchdowns for Bradshaw Mountain in the fourth quarter, including a 75-yard gallop with 6:41 left to play in regulation. Justin Martinez capped the scoring with a 27-yard scamper less than two minutes later.
Coconino's last win came on Oct. 6, 2006, in a 41-0 decision over Page.
Speaking of Page, the Sand Devils were clobbered by Mingus Union 57-0 on Friday night, as Mingus and Bradshaw look to be front-runners in a two-team race for the Grand Canyon Region title.
The Bears hit the road to face the same Page team next Friday.
