The Chino Valley Farmers Market at Bonn Fire Restaurant on Highway 89, runs Thursdays, starting June 5, from 3 p.m. to sundown. Each market runs weekly through mid-October. All vendors grow their own produce in Arizona or make their food or crafts with Arizona-grown products.
The Prescott Farmers Market will begin its 12th season 7:30 a.m. to noon on May 10 in the main parking lot at Yavapai College. This year's Market offers: farm-fresh, locally grown produce; agricultural crafts; gourmet foods; starter plants; advice from local growers; guest chefs and samples; local musicians; and more. Opening day guests will receive a special gift for Mothers Day; kids can paint flower pots and plant seeds; and chef Barry Barbe from Four Corners Restaurants will do a cooking demo with food from vendors.
