•• THE BANK JOB - A car dealer with a dodgy past and new family, Terry has always avoided major-league scams. • DEFINITELY, MAYBE - Will Hayes is a 30-something Manhattan dad in the midst of a divorce whose 10-year-old daughter, Maya, wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love. As Will tells her his tale, Maya helps him to understand that it's never too late to find a happy ending. Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Derek Luke, Abigail Breslin, Rachel Weisz. Rated PG-13 for sexual content, including some frank dialogue, language and smoking. Romantic comedy.

• •• FOOL'S GOLD - A divorced husband and wife who are fundamentally incompatible but still wildly attracted to one another reunite to search for sunken treasure in this action-comedy. Cast: Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson, Donald Sutherland, Ewen Bremner, and Ray Winstone. Rated PG-13 for action violence, some sexual material, brief nudity and language. Comedy/action.

•• JUMPER - This action-thriller about people called "jumpers" who can transport themselves through space and time is an adaptation of Steven Gould's novels, helmed by the director of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Cast: Hayden Christensen, Jamie Bell, Rachel Bilson, Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Lane. Rated PG-13 for sequences of intense action violence, some language and brief sexuality. Sci-fi/action.

• NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN - This Coen Bros. thriller centers on Llewelyn Moss, an innocent Everyman with a devoted wife. When he stumbles across a drug deal gone deadly and finds $2 million, he's determined to keep it for himself. There's only one problem - he's being pursued by one of the most amoral, evil psychopaths that the bigscreen has ever seen. Cast: Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Kelly MacDonald, Woody Harrelson. Rated R for strong graphic violence and some language. Drama/thriller.

•• THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL - Based on the best selling novel by Philippa Gregory, this tale of intrigue, romance and betrayal is set against the backdrop of a defining moment in history. Two sisters, Anne and Mary Boleyn, are driven by their ambitious father and uncle to advance the family's power and status by courting the affections of the King of England. Cast: Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Eric Bana. Rated PG-13 for mature thematic elements, sexual content and some violent images. Drama.

• RATATOUILLE - In this animated comedy directed by "The Incredibles'" Brad Bird, a rat dreams of becoming a great chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. Voice cast: Patton Oswalt, Brad Garrett, Ian Holm, Brian Dennehy, Janeane Garofalo, Peter O'Toole. Rated: G. Animated comedy.

• •• SEMI-PRO - It's 1976, and Jackie Moon, the owner-coach-player of an American Basketball Association team, must turn his loser crew into winners. Cast: Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson, André Benjamin, Will Arnett, Andy Richter. Rated R for language and some sexual content. Comedy.

• SHREK THE THIRD - When his royal father-in-law falls ill, Shrek (with the help of his trusted companions Donkey and Puss-in-Boots) must find a suitable king for Far Far Away, or he could be stuck with the job. Voice cast: Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Justin Timberlake, Rupert Everett, John Krasinski, Ian McShane. Rated PG for some crude humor, suggestive content and swashbuckling action. Animated comedy.

• •• THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES - Peculiar things start to happen the moment the Grace family (Jared, his twin brother Simon, sister Mallory and their mom) leave New York and move into the secluded old house owned by their great, great uncle Arthur Spiderwick. Unable to explain the strange disappearances and accidents, the family blames Jared. When he and his siblings investigate what's really going on, they uncover the fantastic truth of the Spiderwick estate and the creatures that inhabit it. • THERE WILL BE BLOOD - Daniel Plainview is, as he likes to remind those around him, an oil man: he finds it, he drills for it, and he makes money from it. Following a tip from a visitor named Paul Sunday, whose family sits atop a veritable ocean of oil, Plainview travels to the town of New Boston, California, with his young son. Sunday's preacher brother Eli grudgingly accepts Plainview's ambitions under the condition that he help fund the town church. As Plainview's plans come to fruition, a series of events begin to fracture the insular world he has constructed for Paul Thomas Anderson directs. Cast: Daniel Day-Lewis, Paul Dano, Kevin J. O'Connor, Ciaran Hinds, Dillon Freasier. Rated R for some violence. Drama.
