'Looking Forward' program features presentation by SRP official

PRESCOTT - The fourth presentation in a series of speakers for the Prescott 2050 Visioning effort's "Looking Forward" program will take place this week.

Lori Singleton, manager of Sustainability Initiatives at the Salt River Project, will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Crossroads Center at Prescott College, 220 Grove Ave.

Singleton, a 29-year employee of SRP, will discuss sustainability planning and initiative at SRP. She also will answer questions from the audience.

The "Looking Forward" series of speakers is a part of the Prescott 2050 Visioning effort that Mayor Jack Wilson kicked off earlier this year.

Singleton's presentation is free and open to the public.

Three earlier Looking Forward presentations featured Ed Fox, vice president and chief sustainability officer for Arizona Public Service; Robert Hazlett, senior engineer for the Maricopa Association of Governments; and Grady Gammage Jr., one of the principal authors of the "Megapolitan - Arizona's Sun Corridor" report.
