Bruce R. Lutkins died Jan. 5, 2008, at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was born Sept. 26, 1937, in Peekskill, N.Y., the son of Charles R. and Jessie (Bell) Lutkins. Bruce was 70 years old.

Bruce was a hard-working patriotic American who enjoyed being an auto mechanic.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and loved spending time being a gunsmith and collecting antique model cars.

Bruce would always drop whatever he was doing to help friendsor his family when they needed him.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Edna; sons Ron (Cindy) of Kirkland, Rob (Betty) and Ray (Rosie), both of Prescott Valley, and Kevin (Monica) of Camp Hill, Pa.; daughter Ann Goetz of Prescott; and sister Louise. Bruce is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

A gathering reception will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton.

The family suggests memorials in his name be made to the Yavapai Humane Society, 1635 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, AZ 86301.
