Gown salon helps brides commit to their dresses
PRESCOTT - The owners of a new wedding gown and eveningwear salon are giving prospective brides a reason to reconsider a lengthy drive.
Janie James-High and Sandy Hall opened Ciao Bella in September in the Old Firehouse Plaza located at 218 W. Goodwin St.
James-High said the store caters to the needs of local future brides, saving them frequent trips to Phoenix-area bridal stores.
"The tri-city area needed a bridal salon with all-inclusive service and more selection in style," she said. "We have it all here."
The main showroom features American and European gowns. Eveningwear, children's formal clothes and tuxedos are available. A presentation room allows brides-to-be to try on their gowns.
Ciao Bella also offers headpieces, veils, shoes and jewelry for the big day.
James-High said gowns range from $500 to $3,000, while tuxedo rentals cost about $80.
Customer service is key, said James-High.
"We try to do everything that we can for the bride," she said. "We work with them very closely to make sure things are just how they want them."
Wedding coordination, honeymoon travel plans and cake and flower designs are additional services Ciao Bella offers.
Alterations, cleaning and gown preservation services are also available.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
