Bowl for Kids needs participants, volunteer workers
"Release your Super Hero within" and join Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters for the upcoming Annual Bowl for Kids Sake campaign, Yavapai County's largest single fundraiser for kids. Bowl for Kids Sake participants begin collecting pledges the first week of January until the day of the event which takes place the first two weekends in March. Participants create teams of coworkers, friends, or family members and enjoy entertainment, prize giveaways, FREE pizza and beverages and an opportunity to meet with other community members. You collect pledges, YBBBS thanks you by throwing the best party in town. It's not about Bowling, It's about Helping Kids and Having Fun!!
The actual Bowl for Kids Sake event takes place March 1 & 2 and March 8 & 9 at Antelope Lanes in Prescott Valley and Plaza Bowl in Prescott, as well as at Shake, Rattle & Bowl in Camp Verde. There are many participation opportunities available . . . creating a team, sponsoring the event, or providing prizes. To sign up today, contact YBBBS at 928-778-5135.
Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters (YBBBS) serves children in nearly every school across Yavapai County and Sedona and is recognized as one of the top ten BBBS agencies in the United States. YBBBS is a catalyst for change and is making a tremendous impact on the lives of children and youth throughout Yavapai Country and Sedona. YBBBS exists because many youth lack the extra care and attention of a responsible role model and friend.
