On Saturday children of all ages can participate in Prescott Resort & Conference Center's Gingerbread man cookie decorating activity from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The resort's 16th annual Gingerbread Village remains open through Sunday, Dec. 28.
The Patti Bell, Family & Friends Christmas Show is on this weekend at The Ridge Club at 6200 N. Highway 69 in Prescott. The $20 fee includes dinner, dancing and the Christmas show. Prescott Gateway Mall has the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program going on through Tuesday. Holiday Angel trees are located in front of Barnes & Noble. The Salvation Army decorates the trees with numbered paper angel tags with the child's first name, age and gender. People can remove one or more tags from the tree and buy appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags. The Salvation Army will deliver the presents during Christmas week.
Two churches plan Christmas Eve services. The First Baptist Church at 148 Marina St. in Prescott will conduct its Christmas Eve services at 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The First Congregational Church at 216 E. Gurley St. in Prescott will have its Christmas Eve services at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
