Maurice G. and Maxine E. (Mann) Everaert will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in Prescott Valley, Ariz., on Dec. 28. They met in Havre, Mont., while attending Northern Montana College. They were married in Havre on Dec. 29, 1958, at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Following their wedding, they moved to Denver, Colo., where Maurice studied business at the University of Denver. The couple then moved to Green River, Wyo., where Maurice worked as a construction supervisor and Maxine taught school. In 1964, Maurice joined the Federal Housing Administration and moved first to Casper and then to Cheyenne, Wyo. After returning to Casper in 1976, they continued to work for the FHA and the school district until they retired in 1993.
Following retirement, Maurice and Maxine spent summers volunteering for the U.S. Forest Service in Dubois, Wyo. In 2000, they moved to the Villages at Lynx Creek in Prescott Valley, Ariz., where they now reside.
The couple first celebrated their golden anniversary with an Alaskan cruise, accompanied by their daughter and her husband, Shanna and Dave Robb. Their three daughters and their husbands, four grandchildren, and friends will attend the celebration on Dec. 28.
