On Thursday, Nov. 20, the Red Hats of Cordes Lakes (Lady Bugs and the Rosebuds) were planning to visit Los Abrigados in Sedona to see the Christmas Lights. This is a long walk and can be quite cold.

Since we have some ladies pushing 90 years of age, those that couldn't or didn't want to go had a tea party at the Community Center.

Along with tea they enjoyed the traditional scone with clotted cream and jam, cinnamon twists, cannolis, coconut fluffs and chocolate chip cookies.

Bill Slankard and Jack Williamson served these tasty goodies, with no chance for the ladies to slow down on emptying their plates. The ladies were reportedly so full they had to roll to the chairs for pictures.
