Obituary: Eunice Cook
Eunice Cook, 78, of Chandler, Ariz., passed away on Saturday Dec. 6, 2008, surrounded by her family.
Born in Esterville, Iowa, she was adopted by the Rev. Otis and Adelle Lang. She grew up in St. Louis, Mo., where she met and married Norman Cook (who preceded her in death). She was the wonderful mother of two children, Michael (who preceded her in death) and Cynthia. She was mother-in-law to Michael Rosendaul, grandmother ("G-ma") to Heather Rosendaul and most recently great-grandmother ("GG") to Kaylee Morello. She will be missed by a multitude of relatives, friends, neighbors and her church community. It is because of her faith and spirit that we will not be having a funeral but instead a celebration of a life well lived.
The family requests that you leave your mourning clothes in the closet, put on your party attire and join us at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Mt. View Lutheran Church, 11002 S. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85044 with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 500 N.W. Jacaranda Parkway, Chandler, AZ 85248, or the Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021.
The family wants to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital for the loving care she received while there.
Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.
