Erma Dodson, age 90, went home to be with her Lord Dec. 7, 2008, in Chino Valley, Ariz.
She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Locust Groves, Okla., the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Scroggins) Miller.
She loved to sew and do crafts and also enjoyed gardening, and her family will remember her love to do things for people. She was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church on Willow Creek Road in Prescott.
Erma is survived by her three daughters, Jewel Page of Lorena, Texas; Mary Lou Robbins of Chino Valley, Ariz.; and Velda Tremblay of Prescott, Ariz.; her sister Fannie Mae Hodge; and brother Kail Fisher Miller of Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd in 1989. They shared 43 years together before his passing.
A visitation for Erma will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave. in Prescott, with commemoration services in honor of Erma at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at the First Assembly of God Church, 1455 Willow Creek Road in Prescott with burial to follow the services at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, Ariz.
