Charles Edward (Chuck) Davis, 76, passed away April 15, 2008, in Kailua, Kona, Hawaii. He was born March 13, 1932, in Prescott, Ariz., to Charles and Frieda Davis.

Chuck was an only child and was preceded in death by his parents and son Tod. He is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters, Jean McKinley and Patricia Crawford; and son Patrick Green; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Chuck had many careers in his life. He attended college at both the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University. He spent a number of years with the Arizona Highway Patrol and later became an efficiency engineer expert, doing business with Universal Studios and Blue Diamond, among others. In the middle of his life, he was an industrial engineer in the computer electronics industry, having followed the electronic industry since its early days.

Chuck was an avid pilot and loved the sea. He and his wife moved to Kailua, Kona, Hawaii, 15 years ago to retire.

A memorial service will be April 23, 2008, at the Church of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii. A Hui Hou Funeral and Tribute assisted the family with arrangements.

The family requests that memorials or contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
