Farm expo features free locally grown food

PRESCOTT - The public can sample food directly from local farmers Saturday at the Yavapai County "Fill Your Plate" Expo.

The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Prescott Gateway Mall.

The public will be able to meet local farmers and ranchers and sample the products they grow and raise in Yavapai County.

Approximately 20 booths will highlight Yavapai agriculture and its history, provide free taste samples, and offer information about various agriculture products.
