Prescott police arrested three male juveniles in a vehicle burglary at Gateway Mall Sunday.
A 19-year-old woman told police someone broke into her Jeep while she was working at the mall. Police found that someone took more than $500 worth of property.
Officers arrested the juveniles on charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools and theft. They also arrested one boy on charges of possession of a forged instrument and possession of stolen property.
The same evening, a man called Prescott Police Dispatch when he saw three juveniles try to burglarize a vehicle in downtown Prescott.
Officers found the suspects and searched their vehicle. They found several items that belonged to the victim from the Gateway Mall burglary. Police also found several false identification cards and three car stereos possibly from other vehicle burglaries.
Police booked the juveniles, two from Prescott Valley and one from Dewey, into Yavapai County Juvenile Detention.
