Stan was born in Canton, South Dakota, on Dec. 20, 1937, and died on Oct. 2, 2007.
He served in the Navy from 1955 to 1961; receiving a Good Conduct Medal.
Stan is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sarah; daughter Mrs. Petina Weisenburger; grandchildren, Joshua and Shy Ann Weisenburger; sister Mary Stoops; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
