Obituary: Diane Marie Sileo died Sept. 23, 2007
Diane Marie Sileo of Chino Valley, Ariz., died Sept. 23, 2007. She was born May 28, 1941 in Stamford, Conn.
Diane attended Holy Name of Jesus School and Sacred Heart Academy High School in Stamford, Conn., graduating in 1959. She attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Hartford, Conn.
Diane married William F. Sileo on Sept. 16, 1961. Diane was an active member of the Unity Church of Prescott in the capacity of chaplain, lay minister and bookstore manager. She was a Spiritual Health Practitioner who donated her healing art to those in need through Shanti Wellness Project and local Hospice. In her past endeavors, she was a multi-talented musician, vocalist and student of herbology. Diane will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
Diane is preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Marie Bocchetta of Norwalk, Conn. She is survived by her husband, William; her daughter, Karen R. Sileo of Carlsbad, Calif.; her son, Michael G. Sileo of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Jo Zabel of Herndon, Va. and Virginia Williams of New Milford, Conn.; and her six grandchildren, Julianne Littlefield of California, Noelle, Luke and Angelisa Sileo of Florida, and Tony and Rocco Bocchetta of Connecticut.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane's memory to the Arizona Heart Institute Translational Research Foundation, 2632 North 20th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006 or to the Unity Church of Prescott, 145 South Arizona Ave., Prescott, AZ 86303.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at the Unity Church of Prescott at the above address. A memorial service will also be in Norwalk, Conn. at a later date.
