PV Police arrest four, cite one on drug charges

Prescott Valley narcotics officers Wednesday arrested four men and cited a woman on drug-related charges, after warrant and probation searches turned up home-grown marijuana, methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.

Officers arrested Van Buren Melton, 25, and Geoffrey Martindale, 28, after a they served a search warrant in the 3700 block of Valorie Drive, according to a PVPD press release. Police charged Melton for possession of marijuana for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. They charged Martindale for possession of a firearm during a drug offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The two are in Yavapai County Jail.

PVPD officers assisted Yavapai County Adult Probation with a search at Anthony Gordecki's residence on Lynx Lake Drive. They arrested Gordecki, 43, on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and probation violation. The release stated that Gordecki admitted using methamphetamines the previous night.

Police also arrested Ronald Brewer, 51, on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, and cited and released Clair Gill, 31, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Both Gordecki and Brewer went to Yavapai County Jail.
