Betty Yarborough

Betty Yarborough was born Dec. 26, 1915, in Amarillo, Texas. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 4, 2007.

A graduate of San Diego State University, she earned her master's degree in education and retired from the San Diego City School District after many fruitful years as a teacher and speech and hearing therapist. She was the consummate professional and a loving, caring mother.

The oldest of three children, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Yarborough; and two siblings.

She is survived by sons, Larry Dennis of Flower Mound, Texas, Gene Dennis of Carlsbad, California; and two daughters, Linda Sandvall of Spring Valley, California and Stephanie Maupin of San Andreas, California.

Her family included 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Betty lived most of her retirement years in Prescott, Arizona, where she was an active member of Calvary Chapel in that city. She had many friends and was loved by all who knew her.

Her ashes will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery with her beloved husband during a family service at the internment site on May 10, 2007.

Olive Lautenschlager

Olive Lautenschlager, age 87, of Scottsdale and formerly of Prescott, Ariz., passed away March 20, 2007, in Tempe, Ariz.

Olive was born in Park Ridge, Ill., on Oct. 22, 1919.

She was the world's best homemaker and mother. She was a longtime mem-ber of the American Luth-eran Church in Prescott.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer and grandson Adam.

Olive is survived by her daughters, Joy (James) Lew-is, Norma (Dan) Mazur, and Betty (Michael) Rivera; son Greg (Andrea) Lauten-schlager; sister Eileen Em-pens; brother Donald Cla-vey; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1101 Sandretto Drive, Prescott.

Donations may be made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital.

Linda Bither

Linda Bither of Mayer, born May 5, 1945, went to our loving Father's arms March 16 at home with her loving husband, Herb, after a long battle with cancer.

Linda worked at Circle K in Mayer for over 12 years.

She is survived by her husband, Herb Bither; sons David Hawkes and Andrew Hawkes; two grandchildren; sisters Sandra Murray and Kim Bennett; and brothers George Bura, William Bura and Richard Bura.

No services are planned.

Sandra Ann Autwell, 63, of Chino Valley, born July 11, 1943, in Merced, Calif., passed away March 17, 2007, in Prescott.

A private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
