Law firm to host meeting on proposed rezone

CHINO VALLEY - The law firm that represents the interests of Perkins Ranch Inc. will conduct a neighborhood meeting at 4 p.m. Wednesday inside the Chino Valley Senior Center to discuss with residents the ranch's proposed rezone for construction of an airpark off Perkinsville Road.

Perkins Ranch Inc. has requested to rezone and hope to obtain a conditional use permit from the Town of Chino Valley for about 1,043 acres to develop an airpark on the southeast corner of Perkinsville Road and Narrow Gauge Road, about 6.5 miles east of Highway 89.

The ranch has hired the law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy to help obtain the rezone from Single Family Residential 2-Acre Minimum (SR-2) to Industrial and acquire a conditional use permit to operate an airpark at that site.

Shelly McTee, who works for Gallagher & Kennedy, will conduct the neighborhood meeting at the Senior Center on 1021 W. Butterfield Road to allow adjacent landowners or others potentially affected by this project to discuss and express their views about an airpark.

For more information about the meeting, call Chino Valley's Development Services Department at 636-4427.
