Obituaries: Ronald Louis Apodaca

Ronald Louis Apodaca, age 62, died July 19, 2007, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Louis and Maria (Seiler) Apodaca.

Ronald worked for General Motors as an assemblyman for 29 years. In 1994, Ronald retired, that is when he and his wife, Genevieve, moved from California to Arizona. His family will remember his love of fishing and hunting with them and how he enjoyed dancing and listening to country western music as well as Mexican music.

Ronald and his wife Genevieve shared 43 years together and he will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was proud of his three sons.

Ronald is survived by his wife Genevieve; sons, Ronnie Ray (Debbie), Philip (Leigh), Jose (Melissa); grandchildren, Venessa, Nicholas, Cheyenne, Chris and Gina; his brother, Donnie; and two sisters, Patricia and Kathy.

A visitation to honor Ronald will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley, with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2007, at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley.
