Jacobson joins ERAU
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has announced that Courtney Lyn Luque Jacobson is the new International Student Coordinator for the Prescott, Ariz., campus. She started in October 2007.
Luque Jacobson, originally from Kalispell, Mont., and her family join ERAU from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where she was an Assistant ESL Professor for la Escuela Agrícola Panamericana/Zamorano University.
As International Student Coordinator, Luque Jacobson will coordinate activities and services such as the popular International Festival, which is open to the public, for international students and support the study abroad program for all students. She will integrate her expertise in language and literature and her multi-cultural experience to direct activities and services for all current international students as well as enhance multi-cultural experiences for all members of the campus and the Prescott community.
Luque Jacobson graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell, Mont. and earned her bachelor of arts, summa cum laude, in German literature and language with a minor in business administration from University of Oregon. She is also certified in Second Language Acquisition and Training.
