Earl T. (Tom) PerattEarl T. (Tom) Peratt was born on April 5, 1921, in Wilsonville, Ill., to Garrett Hobart Peratt and Correnia Fay (Sullivan) Peratt. He was called home to be with his Lord on April 16, 2007.Tom leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife of over 50 years, Betty; brothers, John, George (Freeman), Jim and Burl; sisters, Alma and Nell; as well as sons, Tom (Norma) and Al (Teresa); and daughters, Beverly Perkinson and Dianne (Don) Flood. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.His parents; two brothers; and two sons preceded him in death.During World War II, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for 21 years as an engineman aboard submarines earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer. After retiring from the Navy he worked for Montgomery Wards as a warehouseman retiring after 20 years and then worked for 12 years as a driver for Mountain View Auto Parts. He never really completely retired, working until last fall assisting the maintenance staff at First Baptist Church after he and his wife moved to Prescott.A memorial service for Tom will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 148 S. Marina St., Prescott, with Pastors Al Peratt, and Don, Paul and Josh Flood officiating. Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice Family Care, 100 E. We will all miss our smiley baby Jackson. A celebration of sweet Jackson's beautiful life will be on April 21, 2007, at Buelers Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, Arizona 85225. She is survived by one son, Ronald Nimocks, and two daughters, Janet Thomas and Sandra Hays. She was born March 27, 1929, in Arlington, Massachusetts. She moved from New England to Prescott, Arizona, in 1970, and to Mesa, Arizona, in 2005. She loved to play card games, was creative with crafts and was active in her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Linney. Barbara will be missed by her children, Janet Dean of Prescott Valley, Alice Harmon of Prescott Valley, Linda (Joe) Lee of Prescott Valley, Gail (Allan) Taylor of Peoria, Thomas (Andrea) Harmon of Prescott Valley and Martha (Tom) Long of Mesa, who loving cared for her these last few years; her 11 grandchildren; and her close friend Linda Montler.
